Invoicing and payments

The electricity sales invoice consists of the electricity you use and a basic fee. You can find the billed amount of electricity and the billing period on the breakdown page of your invoice. For the electricity sales invoice, you can choose a billing interval of either 1 month or 3 months.

The district heating bill consists of an energy charge and a basic fee. District heating is billed based on hourly readings, meaning the invoice includes the total consumption amounts for each hour of the month. The billing interval for the district heating bill is 1 month.

Seinäjoen Energia Oy / Vesi is responsible for invoicing water usage. The bill consists of a basic water fee and consumption charges. If the property is connected to the wastewater network, we also invoice for the basic wastewater fee and consumption. Water is billed four times a year, usually with three estimated invoices and one settlement invoice based on the reported water meter reading.

The water meter reading must be reported at least once a year. If you want your bill to always reflect actual consumption, you should report the reading every three months (by March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31). You can conveniently submit your water meter reading through the Kulutusweb service. The estimated invoice is based on an annual consumption estimate, which updates whenever you report a reading. If the property has a remotely readable meter, reporting the water reading is not necessary.

Seiverkot Oy invoices electricity distribution services and electricity tax. The electricity distribution billing is based on actual hourly consumption, and your invoice shows the amount of electricity you have used. You can choose a billing interval of either 1 month or 3 months. More information about the distribution area and network service billing can be found on the Seiverkot website.
